Online Story (here) Moonlit fire in the snow held at Stonehedge Gardens Monday, March 1, 2010 By ANDREW LEIBENGUTH TN Correspondent [email protected] Stonehedge Gardens on Dairy Road in South Tamaqua held a free community moonlit campfire Sunday night. Visitors came from as far as Bethlehem to enjoy the moonlit fire. Stonehedge Garden's volunteers, Kevin Ruch and Matt Vitak, brought homemade musical instruments and passed them around to some of the guests that attended. Some of the instruments consisted of various percussion instruments harmonic steel drum, djembe drum and bongos. A few of the homemade instruments consisted of water bottles and Spanish modeled propane tanks with cuts in them tuned to pentatonic scales. Kevin Smith, Stonehedge Garden's volunteer, stated, "We have so many community events coming up." He encourages people to stop by, call, or visit the garden's Web site to view all upcoming events.
