And so it begins.  Here is the most ambitious project yet.  Powering all the light on the grounds with water power.  Building a water wheel will be an exciting accomplishment and will take some time to perfect.  I will post pics and steps as they develop.  First is the space we are working with.  The first pics are after we already had spent a few days clearing and cutting back to expose the waterfall and the eroding pipe.  this is the first situation that needs to be fixed.  replacing the pipe piece and rebuilding the bank....i'm gonna post some sketches and ideas.  please respond with more ideas and improvements.  This is a project i think everyone will enjoy getting into and gathering information...

Such an incredible weekend.  Being blessed with beautiful interactions through vibration, sight, and enlightening conversations.  A gathering of the hedgers who have made our summer so spectacular.  So excited for the fall and of course the Holiday Winter season.  It's the 30th tree lighting anniversary so it will be a big one.  For the Intergalactic Gathering we build a sweet Bamboo Pyramid, covered it in green lights, and then built a bamboo tunnel with a screen with wild projections.  We had friends come out from Austin, TX to show the gardens some creative love.  Much love to Sage, Parker, Bob, and Hannah.  Make sure to check out Subliminal Phoenix's page and dig deeper into the world of your psyche and utilize tools developed to unwind the mind.  Here are some pics of the night.

Here is our first attempt playing with Cob.  A mixture of dirt, clay, sand, and straw.  We are building a Cob Oven to start with.  I'll post pics and videos of the step by step process so you guys can build one too.  First step is the foundation...

My first Attempt at a Star Dome.  Doing this by myself  took 2 days.  it would of been a lot easier and more precise with some help.  note to self for next time.  but it is possible to get it up yourself.  This structure could be wrapped in canvas or cover to really make it a nice spot for a rainy day fire, and campout.  Having bamboo on the grounds has been such a rewarding exchange.  I'll keep posting more Bamboo Structures

What an amazing Summer so far here at Stonehedge.  We had 4 magical gatherings here at Stonehedge this year.  Our family is growing with every new step.  so exciting all the activity on the grounds.  We are lookng  forward to the future with so many possibilities popping up.  With Fall on the way, we can't wait to start seeing the leaves change colors.  We are really starting to think about the Holiday season, which will be the 3oth anniversary of the Tree Lighting.  We hope to make this one of the best ones yet.  what kind of events should we get going here on the grounds.  maybe a Masquerade Ball and Dinner Party as a fundraiser for the late October days.
